![]() If you go this route, you will probably want to re-key "Force Move" to your mouse wheel. If you're playing on PC you can take advantage of the Numlock Trick to autocast EB for you. The idea is to cast it as soon as it's ready so it's always going off everywhere you go. ![]() The Chain Reaction rune gives off 3 blasts so it allows you to deal damage while covering ground. I dont have a good larceny ring either.Įither way, damage isnt the issue in t16 rifts (with my current setup at least).Įxplosive Blast typically needs high cooldown reduction to function well, usually 50% minimum, and 66.7% recommended. ![]() So i dont know what im supposed to use instead of the leoric ring, because the ring of larceny requires echoing fury to work and without deathwish i would be losing a big chunk of my damage. I dont get how that works? Its what you use to trigger the 6 piece proc to do damage. Meanwhile, the "GR solo speeds" one doesnt even use obsidian ring of the zodiac to reduce your cooldowns, and that means you will be constantly waiting for explosive blast to go off cooldown. Yet, the build also uses chain reaction which slows you down a lot when clearing because you have to wait 1.5 seconds per pack before your explosive blast goes off. If you look at the "nephalem rift" variant, it doesnt even use deathwish because it is using echoing fury for movement speed. I dont understand some of the stuff for those builds. I could give it a try though (i have one with crit damage but not crit % and i cannot enchant it to have crit % because i need to enchant it to have a socket instead). ![]() I havent been able to get a squirt's necklace with crit hit chance and i was worried the 50% extra damage taken would make me too squishy. I have, i just made modifications to the build based on the items i have. PR 720 atm, using firebirds explosive blast. Not sure what im doing wrong exactly if 4 minutes is slow. I think im faster in rifts because i can get the speed boost from avarice.ĭPS is not an issue in T16 rifts since i can consistently one shot trash mobs and elites generally die in 2 explosive blasts. I spam it as much as possible but when i start losing combustion stacks, the cooldown gets too long and i end up having to run and that slows me down. I keep getting the feeling that i am playing the build wrong somehow in terms of managing my teleports and moving through the map. If i drop etched sigil/ranslors to fit in the aughild set bonus, i can consistently one shot them in GR 85 but then clearing is slower because i dont have ranslors to suck in the mobs and the short range on explosive blast sucks for clearing. But i feel like im stuck at GR 80 because i dont do enough damage to one shot big mobs consistently with at GR 85, and when that happens i have to use a signature spell to finish them off and it feels awkward. The build is setup to pull in all mobs within 30 yards with the auto cast twister, and then i just explosive blast to one shot them. If doing GRs, i swap boon of the hoarder with taeguk and the topaz in the helm with a rank 3 silver of terror. Not sure how to add it manually to the planner. I am using a rank 3 essence of anguish in the weapon with the poison explosion rank 3 power. Ive read that GR 90 drops "12 items" but i dont know if that includes crafting mats.Įdit : I just timed a t16 rift and it took about 4 minutes for about 12 legendaries/forgotten souls. Would higher GRs be better? I can do maybe GR 80 quickly. Ive been doing t16 rifts and i average maybe 7-8 legendaries. ![]() The Lewis & Short Latin dictionary gives the Latin meaning of "volubilis" as " that is turned round or (more freq.) that turns itself round, turning, spinning, whirling, circling, rolling, revolving." The word is mentioned in Horace's Epistles (I, 2, 43): labitur, et labetur in omne volubilis aevum ("It flows and will flow, swirling on forever.") In Classical Latin, the "v" in "volubilis" was pronounced like a "w", making the pronunciation closer to modern Amazigh and Arabic pronunciations. It could also be seen as a direct translation of the Amazigh name if this one was related to the root WLLY meaning "to turn, to spin". The origins of its name are unknown but may be a Latinisation of the Amazigh word Walilt, meaning oleander, which grows along the sides of the valley. Today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, listed for being "an exceptionally well preserved example of a large Roman colonial town on the fringes of the Empire". ![]() During and after the period of French rule over Morocco, about half of the site was excavated, revealing many fine mosaics, and some of the more prominent public buildings and high-status houses were restored or reconstructed. It was not until the latter part of the 19th century that the site was definitively identified as that of the ancient city of Volubilis. The ruins remained substantially intact until they were devastated by an earthquake in the mid-18th century and subsequently looted by Moroccan rulers seeking stone for building Meknes. Much of the local population was transferred to the new town of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, about 5 km (3.1 mi) from Volubilis. By the 11th century Volubilis had been abandoned after the seat of power was relocated to Fes. In the late 8th century it became the seat of Idris ibn Abdallah, the founder of the Idrisid dynasty of Morocco. It continued to be inhabited for at least another 700 years, first as a Latinised Christian community, then as an early Islamic settlement. ![]() The city fell to local tribes around 285 and was never retaken by Rome because of its remoteness and indefensibility on the south-western border of the Roman Empire. Its prosperity, which was derived principally from olive growing, prompted the construction of many fine town-houses with large mosaic floors. The city gained a number of major public buildings in the 2nd century, including a basilica, temple and triumphal arch. The first place I can remember seeing it was on a single from the Never Say Die album. Anyway, was that symbol involved in the original release, or was that something you chose to put there? I ask, because I’m trying to track down the first usage of that symbol. The physical discs for that release have the flying demon image that has been seen for bloody ages, that Geezer tells me is called “Henry”. Me: I know it wasn’t issued in the recent Universal series of remasters, but it was at the tail end of the 1996 Castle series in 1998. Here’s our email exchange (posted with permission): His reply is interesting, and seems to pinpoint the earliest true usage. As time went on with the site work, I got a hold of Hugh Gilmour, who has done a lot of artwork for Black Sabbath over the years, and he was credited with art design on that remaster series. However, I never remembered it being on the old vinyl and cassette tapes I had back in the day. I was a bit perplexed by this, as the original release of this compilation was late in 1975, which if accurate would be the earliest usage. So, as I continued the work for the Jan 2012 re-launch of this site, I was doing some scanning of back cover art, and discovered this on the 1998 remaster of “We Sold our Soul for Rock & Roll”. Was also on the 2007 compilation, “ The Dio Years“. Both in the “Matthew 25:41” circle image shown at the top of this page, and as well as the “Wal-Mart exclusive” cover art, which can be seen here. The most visible, I suppose would be Bill Ward’s drums on the 1999 Tour.ĭespite all of it’s uses over time, it’s only ever appeared on a few album covers. Henry is actually animated there, which was a new wrinkle. If you haven’t seen that carnage, check it out here. The most recent I think would be the really horrendous music video for the track “Bible Black in 2009. It’s been used a boatload of times over the years on numerous things, including several bits of artwork connected to the band. I saw it used in a tour promo logo as well as on the cover of a single from that album. WHEN was the first time we saw Henry? The earliest I could remember was on the Never Say Die album. It’s a logo that’s been in use for a long time, and that was a point of contention with me. :) Henry is of course the “flying devil” or “flying angel” or whatever you want to refer to it. He’s something akin to Iron Maiden’s “Eddie”, although Henry has never come out on stage live. Thing is, most people didn’t know he’s called Henry. The title track itself has been streamed over 703 million times. If you’re a Black Sabbath fan, especially a long time one, you’ve seen Henry a bunch of times. Then connect the pump to the rigid piping using the flexible hoses. To avoid this, we recommend placing vibration-damping feet underneath the booster and fixating all rigid pipes. This will help you improve your sketching skills with manifolds. With a suitable template that fits your art style, you can enhance your portrait drawing skills very easily. That's where the concept of the perfect face template helps. Specially for beginners, it can be a really difficult task. While achieving these features may not be possible for everyone, it is important to remember that true beauty comes from within.Drawing the human face with nearly perfect proportions is a big challenge. These include symmetry, proportionality, clear skin, and a pleasant expression. While the concept of a perfect face may vary from person to person and culture to culture, there are certain characteristics that are generally seen as desirable. This may be because individuals are more drawn to positivity and kindness. Research suggests that faces that are perceived as happy or approachable are generally seen as more attractive than those that appear sad or angry. A perfect face should have a natural, pleasant expression that is not forced or exaggerated. Expressionįinally, the way in which a face expresses emotion can also contribute to its perceived attractiveness. It is important to note that while some people may have naturally flawless skin, others may need to put in more effort to achieve the perfect complexion. There are a number of factors that can contribute to the appearance of healthy skin, including a nutritious diet, adequate hydration, and a regular skincare routine. This is because it is a sign of good health and vitality. Clear, glowing skin is generally seen as more attractive than dull, blemished skin. In addition to facial features, the quality of the skin also plays a role in determining the perfect face. While these are general guidelines, it is important to note that beauty is subjective and what is considered perfect may vary from person to person. The nose should also be in proportion to the rest of the face – not too big or too small. While different cultures may have slightly different ideals when it comes to proportions, there are some universal standards that are generally seen as desirable.įor example, the distance between the eyes should generally be equal to the width of one eye, while the distance between the eyes and the mouth should be approximately one-third of the total length of the face. In addition to symmetry, the proportions of facial features play a crucial role in determining the attractiveness of a face. ![]() While perfect symmetry is difficult to achieve in reality, it is still a desirable trait in a perfect face. In fact, studies have shown that people often prefer faces that have been artificially manipulated to look more symmetrical, such as using photo editing software to mirror one half of the face onto the other. When both sides of the face are similar in size and shape, it creates a sense of harmony that is pleasing to the eye. ![]() This is because having balanced features can be an indicator that an individual has faced few environmental challenges or genetic mutations. It is believed that symmetry is seen as attractive because it is a sign of good health and genetic fitness. One of the most widely studied features of a perfect face is symmetry. In this article, we will explore the characteristics of a perfect face. While different cultures and time periods have had varying standards of beauty, some features appear to be universally admired. When it comes to beauty, the concept of a perfect face has been a topic of discussion for centuries. ![]() Maybe an element needs to move from position relative to fixed, or some children of a flex container need to be smoothly shuffled around the viewport. One of the main difficulties of animating on the web is that a lot of changes to layout are impossible to animate. In order to build responsive layouts, we make use of a bunch of different positioning methods and layout systems. Over in HTML-land it’s much more complex. This means if we animate the element by 100 units along the x-axis, it will always move by the entire width of its parent SVG, no matter how big or small that SVG is! Give the demo a resize to see.Īs we mentioned earlier, in SVG-land every element is neatly placed on one grid and really easy to move around responsively. In this next demo, our SVG viewBox is 100 units wide and 50 units tall. ![]() The viewBox defines the dimensions of the graph paper we can see. SVG space is like an infinite bit of graph paper where we can arrange elements. In SVG-land, all elements are plotted at specific coordinates. The clue’s in the name really - Scalable Vector Graphic. One of the things I love about working with SVG is that we can use SVG user units for animation which are responsive out of the box. We’re not just limited to these units though - let’s take a look at some other possibilities. The purple box even changes width at different breakpoints, but as we’re using percentages to move it, the animation scales along with it too.Īnimating layout properties like left and top can cause layout reflows and jittery ‘janky’ animation, so where possible stick to transforms and opacity. If you resize this pen you can see that the animation using viewport units scales fluidly as the browser adjusts: A lot of animations can easily adjust to different contexts just by using the right units from the start. (Here are the slides from that presentation.)įluid animation is all about letting the browser do the hard work. Let’s take a look… Fluid animationĪs Andy Bell says: Be the browser’s mentor, not its micromanager - give the browser some solid rules and hints, then let it make the right decisions for the people that visit it.
